The fashion and luxury sector is currently facing a dual strategic challenge: the urgent need to uphold the exclusivity and heritage while simultaneously mastering the radical demands of digital innovation and technology. The MBA Fashion and Luxury Marketing program is designed to cultivate the visionary leaders required to successfully navigate and capitalize on this critical junction.

The luxury segment is far broader than just fashion and Haute Couture, encompassing industries like jewelry, gastronomy, or hospitality. You will study the specific marketing strategies and business approaches required across this entire sector. The curriculum builds a strong core business foundation (Year 1) before dedicating Year 2 to specialized structural challenges—such as sustainable sourcing or global expansion strategies—alongside advanced industry concepts in Luxury Watchmaking, Fine Jewelry, or Experiential Hospitality. You will leverage cutting-edge technologies like AI, big data, and virtual fashion environments throughout your studies, preparing you for top-tier roles such as Brand Director, E-commerce Manager, and International Development Manager.

Year 1 Course Structure

The first year of the MBA program functions as a foundational core, common to all specializations, establishing the high-level competencies required to lead global luxury enterprises. It blends academic rigor with practical insight, developing your critical thinking to build a strategic, operational, and global perspective.

Through hands-on industry collaborations, group projects, and consultancy assignments, students develop the necessary cross-functional skills and intercultural communication abilities for effective management in global teams.

By the end of the first year, students will possess the functional skills across six core areas:

    • Propose innovative customer experience solutions using sensory marketing and omnichannel strategies, leveraging data and digital tools (e.g., AI, Big Data) for impactful marketing.

    • Collaborate effectively in diverse, multicultural teams, leading group projects with confidence and communicating strategic ideas clearly across all business contexts, including crisis communication.

    The Business of Fashion modules offer an in-depth exploration of the fashion industry from a business perspective. These modules cover essential topics such as intellectual property and corporate law as well as a variety of subjects related with the development of business models. Through case studies, industry projects, and expert lectures, students will develop the strategic thinking and practical skills needed to thrive in the fast-paced and ever-evolving fashion business landscape.

    Fashion’s Environment

    This module grouping looks at fashion with the prism of diversity and inclusivity. It prepares our students to address the future needs of a competitive fashion industry, whether it is the optimization of the supply chain through a sustainable perspective, the implementation of cutting-edge tech processes for digital retail or the consideration of contemporary fashion phenomena.

    Fashion Lab

    The Fashion Lab module grouping is handled by the Direction of Corporate Relations of IFA Paris. Through a variety of practical workshops, students will get the opportunity to be involved in real-life case studies provided by partner brands. They will also have the opportunity to work on their professional profile through customized coaching sessions to ensure they can secure a 6-month internship.

Year 2 Course Structure

This final year trains students to apprehend the luxury sector’s digital transformation. The curriculum focuses on developing the essential strategic skills needed to successfully navigate between the exclusive communication channels specific to luxury and the widely used social networks. Students deep dive into innovative marketing, from real-time data analytics and social media strategy to advanced virtual environments, preparing them to manage the luxury industry’s paradox: brand desirability and scalable growth.

  3. Digital Leadership & Innovation in Luxury
    • Spearhead digital strategy by exploring and applying cutting-edge tools—from social media to AI-driven personalization and virtual environments—to enhance brand loyalty and drive growth within the luxury sector.
  4. Luxury Corporate Strategy & Operations
    • Analyze key strategies that structure the evolution of the luxury industry, including M&A, franchising, licensing, and risk strategy, while understanding the specific tenets of niche segments like Haute Couture and experiential luxury.

    Fashion & Luxury Environments

    Fashion and Luxury are made out of diverse segments. Understanding this heterogeneity is key to build a differentiating perspective and create future leaders that will break pre-conceived ideas. Students will engage in a dialogue to understand the tenets of haute couture, to deconstruct fast fashion or to analyze experiential luxury in the fields of hospitality, gastronomy and jewelry.

    Capstone

    In the Capstone Project, students are expected to create a link between the course knowledge and their practical understanding of the industry’s up-to-date best practices to prepare a fully-fledged plan for a business venture in the fashion and luxury industries.

Online Format

The online program takes place live and in real-time (Paris or Istanbul local time) and you will interact with the lecturer and other students through our online platform. However, if you cannot attend or miss a live class, every session is also recorded and saved, so you can go back and watch it at a later suitable time for you.

Admission Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor graduate or equivalent
  • Non-native English speakers need to provide valid English proficiency score (IELTS 6.5 minimum, or equivalent such as TOEFL, TOEIC, Duolingo) OR provide proof of previous education taught in English
  • Significant professional experience in related fields is preferred, but not required (internships are considered)
